With 15 years experience in all aspects of non-profit fundraising, Judy finds foundation and corporate support for ArtsEcho's range of artistic and educational programming, including its exciting rendezvous, the Galleria. A graduate of the University of Maryland (BA in Political Science/Journalism; MA in Film History & Criticism), Judy spent her first 15 years in the NYC area as an actress and cabaret singer. When Judy left show business to become a freelance grantwriter and then development director, she fundraised for health, environmental, educational, and other NYC non-profits, but has always returned to her first love -- the arts. Her journalism background has come to the fore while publicizing ArtsEcho Galleria's unique concerts, art exhibits, and fun fashions to the metro area and beyond. Judy, her actor/husband Howard Pinhasik, and her son Joey have been proud residents of Union City, NJ for nine years.
